Appartement renovatie in Amsterdam
The bathroom and toilet underwent a complete renovation. The shower was replaced with a bath in the niche, and the wall between the toilet and bathroom was restored for accessibility. The toilet saw the removal of the Geberit system, and a floor-mounted toilet was installed. Hot water was added to the toilet faucet by connecting it to the bathroom faucet.
The kitchen was completely renovated, with all furniture and appliances removed but not replaced. The sink drain was moved to the window, and the cable and socket above the kitchen cabinets were concealed.
All walls and ceilings in the rooms and kitchen were refurbished for a consistent and smooth finish. This included removing steel panels, wallpaper in two rooms, and textured plaster in one room. Following these preparatory steps, all walls and ceilings were plastered and painted.
The existing laminate and vinyl floors were removed. The DBS14 water-based floor heating system, chosen for its low profile, was installed. Radiators were removed, and four thermostats were installed, divided into four groups. The floor heating was connected to the boiler and gradually heated to a maximum temperature of 27°C. A new laminate with an appropriate subfloor was then installed.
A new perilex cable was installed from the distribution board to the kitchen for the oven. New cable channels were added to the walls, and 21 new regular sockets were installed.
A vent was created from the storage/laundry area to the hallway, and a remote control panel with a CO2 sensor was installed. Additionally, a new Zehnder Comfofan mechanical ventilation unit was fitted.
