From concept to completion: Amsterdam apartment refresh

This project focused on refreshing a modern apartment in Amsterdam. The renovation spanned two months, with a total cost of €53,741.

The primary goal was to balance modern functionality with elegant charm. The homeowner wanted a space that felt inviting, stylish, and practical for everyday living. To achieve this, our team worked on multiple aspects of the apartment, from structural upgrades to aesthetic improvements.

The renovation involved:

1. Installing warm oak flooring.

Top five renovation highlights

Each update played a crucial role in transforming the space:

• Floors. We started with the flooring, replacing old surfaces with newly installed oak planks. The warm tones of oak brought a natural charm to the apartment, setting the base for the rest of the design.
• Walls & ceilings. Next, we repaired cracks in the walls and window frames, followed by a fresh coat of paint. This is simple yet effective update creates a clean and modern aesthetic.
• Bathroom & toilet. The bathroom was completely remodeled. The old shower was replaced with a sleek, accessible bath. At the same time, the toilet received a floor-mounted system connected to the bathroom’s hot water supply. 
• Kitchen. We removed outdated fixtures and appliances, repositioning the sink and concealed cables for a seamless look. The result? A minimalist, practical design that’s perfect for everyday use.
• Electrical & ventilation upgrades. To ensure safety and efficiency, we installed new cabling for the oven and added multiple sockets. A Zehnder Comfofan ventilation unit and CO2 sensor improved the apartment’s air quality and comfort.

Every update was made with care, ensuring the apartment’s design and functionality worked seamlessly together.
